Ambient sound on Liberty 2 Pro

Is the Ambient sound mode on L2P will ever come up or this feature will come up on the next gen of liberty series?

I think they have made it clear that pass through of ambient sound is not likely to be added to the L2P at this point. The next gen looks more likely.
