Anker soundcore motion plus firmware update issue

Hi,

I just purchased an Anker Soundcore motion plus. Soon after unboxing, I tried to update the firmware after installing the app. It seemed to go through one pass, but after the six-minute wait window got done, I now see a screen which says “Installation is complete. Device is restarting…It will take a while, please wait”. Well, it has been on that screen for over 45 minutes, so I think something has gone awry.

The app has also hung and is not responsive.

Can anyone help with this?

I would reset the speaker, delete that app.
Then install the app again and try the whole thing again.

I enjoy the easy questions as well. I wish I was relaxing but kids school has me up at 6 am eastern. With positive cases in the schools or case n the county, I get to sleep til 7 as they go to elearning. Lol

It is nice to have a man of your knowledge on duty.
