Caller issues with Liberty Air 2 Pro

I have had these for a few months, and they worked great. But in the last month, I have been having trouble hearing phone calls through them.

I can hear any sound through my phone (Twitter / Tiktok video for example) but on phone calls, the sound is very distant.

I have paired AirPods and a Jabra headset with the phone (Iphone X) just fine, but this problem is killing me as I need these for work phone calls.

Any advice?

Take some peroxide and a w tip and clean the grill of the earbuds, could be a little bit of wax muffled
