Congratulations to the winners @jercox @Chiquinho

Thanks for the post on Black Wakey @Duane_Lester

I really liked the idea from @Chiquinho … Let us see who implements (if at all) Anker or SoundCore :crossed_fingers:

Implementation is easy a student from the first semester could do it.
A quite simple data base job.
I made such one many years ago.
I had to use a BASIC derivate under WIN-XP
It worked!
But with a 4-86 it took a while to scroll over all the students we had to check.
Old days, old fun!
But nothing changed, programs have to be written and they never work properly!

 this was also one of my projects with sql db, many years ago plus the .Net front end

SQL, even an old programmer knows.
Do you know that COBOL programmers are still wanted.
Many programs are COBOL written and because they are working fine
the were never changed.
Those were the old days :
COBOL, FORTRAN, ALGOL60. PASCAL…
But I am able to write some JAVA and C or C++ programs as well.
Not the “old jerk” I am usually supposed to be.:rofl::rofl:

I did these… and know how tough it was to understand and create projects…

Learnt Java and to some extent still do some programming
C & C++ were my favorites in college, did my final year project on it with Secure Communication using the C++ programming … debugging the errors used it be fun, plus the creation / inclusion of libraries

Things nowadays are so simple… quick drag and drop programming… hope the next generation does not forget what programming is :frowning:

Indeed, simple today, but not the true science.
If you dont have any knowledge about “deep programming”
Assembler etc. you are lost often.
This is why I dont like such black boxes like MS or OS,
LINUX!
I am a UNIX fan, thats all.

Addendum:
The libraries are dangerous.
If there is a change, (often it is) not documented and your program which is using such library functions is going wrong, you are lost.
PS: Did you ever see a “HEX-Dump”?

ohh… don’t remind me of those. … what a pain…
Wish I entered SQL or C at that time… would have been like @Shenoy  or @Chiquinho the best :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Not a big deal coding wise… just need a nod from the account manager to approve the budget for additional bucks/points  though these are not real bucks

Congrats to the other winners, thanks for the gallery of the week badge to add to the collection.

If I was going for a unique design for the case, I would be looking for something halo themed probably…

If you have ever learned structured programming you are able to write programs
using any imperative programming language.
More difficult is using functional (Haskel, Ocaml) or logic ones (PROLOG).

Really hardcore is Assembler code.
