Day 2 | How Well Do You Know These Christmas Hits?

Winners Revealed

Watch below…

Congratulations to @jess4002 :gift:

‘Tis the season to listen to Christmas songs on repeat, but how well do you know the words to these biggest hits?

I’m not sure about you but the mere thought of Christmas celebrations has already got me excited because it’s truly the best time of the year! Time to binge-watch those holiday films, munch on a lot of gingerbread, and blast those Christmas classics 24/7! What’s your favorite part of Christmas?

Time for some #FunFactThursday: Did you know that the first song to ever mention Santa Claus was Benjamin Hanby’s “Up on the Housetop,” written in 1864? Talking about songs, I’m pretty sure we all have our favorites on our festive playlist. Here’s mine!

Don’t forget to check out Soundcore’s Christmas sales page to get the latest deals HERE.

It’s now time to test your knowledge in this fun game! Those who get all the answers correct will have their names put in a Santa hat on December 14th and we’ll randomly select someone to win 100 points! The winner will be announced on the same day.

Ready? Let’s begin!

  1. “I won’t even stay awake, to hear those magic reindeer _____.”

  2. “I could have been someone, well so could anyone, you took my dreams from me, when I first _____ you.”

  1. “Where the treetops glisten and children listen, to hear ________ in the snow.”

  2. Which famous Christmas song begins with the lyrics: “The mood is right, the spirit’s up, we’re here tonight and that’s enough”?

  3. Which Christmas song begins with “It was Christmas Eve, babe, in the drunk tank…”?

  4. What’s the second line of “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas”?

  5. What is the only band in the history of the UK singles charts to have achieved “Christmas No. 1” twice with the same song?

  6. Which single topped the Christmas charts for 10 weeks in the UK and 14 weeks in the USA?

  7. What iconic Christmas song had this as the artwork?

Good luck everyone! :tada:

I could only take part if I would “steal” the solutions of others… :grinning:
But I will not of course.

Good luck to those who are taking part!

I found 7 and 9 hardest. If it weren’t for 7 I’d probably have been 1st.

Predicting some would do that, I deliberately in my unedited post ended some lines with a comma and others with a full stop so those who copy pasted mine would be obvious. I see one has done it already…

But it is a bit of fun nonetheless, good look to everyone who put in the same 10-15 minutes I had to. Question 7 was hard for me, but 9 was surprisingly easy - it was very fuzzy.

Should I copy and paste your solution and you will not find it out.
I could, but Î wouldn’t
(I might write some of my usual spelling and grammatical mistakes):rofl:

LoL yes I did think of making a small typo in each line… but let’s just say I entered in good spirit and good luck to those who put in the effort. Over in the other place the spammers do tricks to hide secret messages in their posts. they know who they are.

Although I would trust most of what most will say on here, I do not trust what most will say on here on these type of threads.

I have seen a movie company on FB give 2 tickets to each theater. The question this week on one theaters post all were answering 1957 and the other theaters post they were answering 1961. (and it was the same question) The answer was 1957 by the way.

yeah and those edit to remove the signs they copy/paste then leave their mark.
