Dolly Parton an icon in country music has had a book program for kids going on for 25 years due to her father being illiterate. It provides book in 5 different countries
Although it is not new news, I think it news that does not get out much. I think it is awesome that a musician can take popularity and to give back to the community. It reminds me how the collective is helping grassroots artist to get additional exposure to a new set of fans.

We have been doing this with my son for 2 years now. Some of the books are good. There has been a couple that have been more of a nuisance to read.
When I found the program out my kids were out of the age range of birth to five which I was like 6 to 7 yrs ago.
We do this for our kids too. I know what you mean when you say some are a nuisance
