Giveaway of the Mini 3

I won this little speaker from a giveaway.
Thank you again, Soundcore.

My well known little helpers “The monkey engineers” promised to help unpacking and testing.
As you all know, they are highly qualified.
They both were really successful in some former projects
(RoboVac 11S and Nebula Astro)
So I let them do.
By the way they got a another little helper (born in 1954.)

Btw : Please soundcore : Can you change that plastic thing,
holding the speaker in the box to a more eco-friendly one.
Thank you!

They unpacked it and we were all surprised how small that speaker is,
Then they monkeys were reading the instruction manual very carefully.
This is a must for serious engineers, they told me.

They were happy to find the possibility to charge via USB-C
(This is modern, so their opinion)

After a little bit confusion about the many knobs they found out their functions.
The knobs are not easy to find, that’s true.
All nearly invisible.

The strap is a nice adding for outdoor use.
First their little friend tried it.

But the engineers did the “mounting”.

Now the most important thing of a speaker :
The sound!

It is really incredible what such a little can can do!
Normally these tiny speakers are lacking of bass.
Not this one. I promise you.
The size and the output is more than fascinating.
I am still playing around with the perfect position.

Of course, you can not expect a disco sound from this little thing.
Here in my little pensioner’s home office its more than sufficient.

(I haven’t used the app, no eq a not tested that PartyCast)

But there is an issue, the speaker is light weighted,
so sometimes there is an annoying vibration when played at high volume and its bassy music.
But it’s easy to resolve put it on a little piece of foam.: perfect.
Or use the strap.

(Hang em higher!) :grinning:

Summary;
You get a really, good surround sound, though the speaker output is on top.
Never supposed that.

Im very impressed and surprised about.
Good job made, Soundcore, developing this motion 3

PS: I would like to keep it for while,
but I am sure the speaker will be “stolen” when presenting at Christmas!

Nice review, love the monkey crew…be sure to give them some warm cocoa.

Glad that these little speakers can still surprise and rock you. I have the first and second version and can’t wait to try out this generation and compare them all.

I dont know about the first editions, Rob.
But this one is fine for a little room and if it is placed in a perfect position.

Of course they can not beat the powerful big ones.

We all know about the technic, usages and abilities of different speaker models.
Comparing it to the speakers of Anker’s beginning -> Big advance.

Always love your reviews! Glad to see the monkeys are still working hard. I’m sure they are really busy with all the work to do with the holidays coming. Hopefully they will get a day or two off😂

Too bad the gallery has been closed!
I found a wooden Fire brigade car from the 1950 in our basement
And the monkeys are now caring about.
Its quite such a funny scenery.

Of course, I believe you are reviewing the Mini3, and not the Motion3 - glad you updated.
