Articles like this are so interesting. I mean in the back of your mind you know it happens somehow, but to read an article about it just brings it to life. I have a couple certificates in business, but never new they had ones at some schools for game audio design.
You back in the atari and nintendo days, I am not sure how much the companies were considering audio into their games but nowadays the games are like movies and audio can make or break how well a game does.
Agreed games nowadays need great audio to enhance the gameplay.

I agree with you, because audio can make the scene come to life. It allows you to feel it and bring you into that moment.
