I knew there was a reason why vinyl was making a comeback

Definitely going to make sure that my vinyl is being stored safely. Need to take good care of it for when the CDs no longer work.

Laser rot isn’t some new, I’ve been wary of it for quite some time (laser disc hoarder… :flushed:)

Although interesting that this now has potential to afffect CD.s and dvds… was under impression they were “immune”

Good article  buuuut… vinyl would risk getting brittle…

Laser discs were pretty darn close… uncompressed audio… the movie Spawn was one of the best of those I have, for sound and such… lmost movie theatre quality…

I’ve never owned a laser disc, or laser disc player, so have no way of being able to compare to DVD quality (or Blu-Ray), but I will take your word for it

I will definitely be checking out Spawn though, a film I have never seen – yet!

One of the cleanest (language) movies I’ve ever seen… not a single swear word throughout… oh and pretty good storyline

A good storyline always helps! And no swearing – wow! That’s a novelty. It’s all too commonplace nowadays!
