I know recently there has been some discussion regarding in ear monitors and how they compare to earbuds, and even what the differences are.
I happened across a decent YouTube vid I thought I’d share.
Curious as to your thoughts.
Me personally, I’ll stick with earbuds, or over ear.
Imo, while earbuds are great you just cannot beat the sound that comes from properly tuned iems and when paired to a high quality amplifier it gets even better. A lot of people cannot tell the difference, but those who can generally appreciates iem’s more
See I’m not such an audiophile / aficionado so I’d worry more about hearing damage from incorrect wearing of iems.
If I was to change my mind, I’d likely go over ear reference monitors.
Personally I simply want to retain the choice.
I’m worried Soundcore is ditching all but the cups and wireless. Wired are superior still for many.
i know why Soundcore is doing it - higher average selling price.
You can still buy from Amazon, these for example suit many better.
Finally got around to watching this video thanks for sharing ive been wanting to try some IEMs for a while but will probably end up sticking to earbuds or headphones
