Just wondering about this? It’s the same with Anker.
Sometimes developers are a little bit lazy when creating certificates .
And Sophos is showing " importance" and
" indispensability" by telling those messages to the users.
It’s literally just a web browser that only accesses soundcore websites. It’s not really an app…
Lazy Developers = Unsecure software
@fd.svensson Are you able to see the certificate signed by the app?
Now I just looked at the Google play app in the phone and there was no certificate to be found. In other hand, don’t think any app show there certificate. I’m always on my phone, never on PC.
Ah wasn’t sure if Sophos showed it or not. It’s probably fine, but its a very bad practice to use nontrusted certificates, or malicious looking certificates. This opens up users to possible MITM attacks and unsafe transfer of data.
You know you can be directed through another place first?
Now I got the app from here and I south it was safe.
