In my childhood :laughing:
My parents liked to listen to Operas and Operettas.
So I know and like most of these arias.

There was no music for young ones on air.
We had the AFN (American Forces Networks) after WWII
Often only country.

But in the 60-ies a special program started here -> Club 16 .

From my childhood, from my musical memories, I most remember the moment when I listened to Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, when I saw and felt that classical music can be beautiful for me and it is suitable for listening :slightly_smiling_face::+1:t2:.

We never should discuss if an artist is “pop” or not.

May be Ludwig van Beethoven was so innovative for his time he could have been called “pop” :joy:
