Life A2 Inc microphone problems

Hi. Apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere. Bought these specifically for Zoom meetings, both at home and in the office. First time using them today and whilst what I could hear was fine there appears to be a problem with the microphone. I was contacted after the meeting and other people in the meeting could hear everything around me, sometimes louder than my voice when I was speaking - it was a quiet day in the office too. Settings on the app don’t seem to cover the microphone. Any clues to what I can do please, or have I bought the wrong device?

I don’t have A2. Hope other community members will be able to clear this issue.
