Looks like you started point digger career

I’m certainly capable of doing it, but lack the interest to do it every day to win. But yes the joke was intended.

trying to stay in the 10 spots for points is like a second job. But like @The_Professor I lack the interest. to work that hard during the little free time I have. Is difficult.

I have some small optimism that changes are coming - but either way, I’m not trying for the top this month, just commenting here and there and sharing on social media.

This qualifies as a “good” post by competitive point gathering standards.

About music? Check
No one else has posted? Check
Interesting hook? Check

You only need 2 out of 3 to make it a good post, and you have all three.

It isn’t a review of a soundcore product, so probably not in contention for thread of the week. But good on other levels.

You owe me the points!
It was my idea first!
But I am generous as usual, you can keep them! :joy:
Enjoy the weekend.
Snowfalls again here.

There is always something that happened to someone at some point in history :joy::joy:

I am sure @The_Professor will not flood the forum with those historical music events,
If so, I am satisfied with 30% of the points.

When it comes to classical music, Beethoven, Chopin and Vivaldi are my favorite composers. Beethoven’s “5th Symphony” and “Moonlight Sonata” are great!:+1:t2:

All good.

I don’t like much of Vivaldi, but parts of L’Estra Armonico are good.
Mahler is good.
Some Wagner.

Best yes, Beethoven had more talent than the entire 20th century.

Beethoven - it’s a pity that such people are not born anymore. It’s hard to find something I like in contemporary classical music.
Mahler, I really like Symphony No. 5.

Yes to an ear tuned to appreciate Beethoven, turn on modern music and it seems to be shouting, computers doing much of the work and care too much about their image. Not all like that but at least half.

Never forget Franz Schubert.
Little poor fellow (ca 1,60m) but one of the greatest.
His fate is so tragical.

But there are so many other absolutely unknown composers
who are a must to listen to.
But first, you have to know them.
And that’s quite difficult.
I am in classical music since I was a child (my mother played Schubert and Beethoven sonatas).
And really, I am still learning.

That’s great contemporary classical music.

I listened to the whole song - I admit that it is quite nice.
I am not a classical music specialist. It all depends on what is playing deep in the soul. Therefore, when I listen to many classic songs, I can only say “good” or “boring”. But when I turn on some of Chopin’s pieces, I immediately have goose bumps and I am delighted.

Chopin was Polish.
May thats the reason you are really so deeply impressed.
This concert is fantastic.
Maria Joao Pires is a perfect interpret for his piano pieces.
I like him too of course.
Have you ever read about his life.
Interesting!

There are other Polish composers who are not so known
for example
Ignacy Jan Paderewski

Not Beethoven but not bad…

Many Poles were composers, but only Chopin was probably able to describe this “Polish soul” musically. It was the power of this “Polish soul” that made us reborn, many times crushed by stronger powers.
I know Chopin’s biography superficially. I don’t like feminine interpretations of Chopin, they are as if “polished”, slower, gentler, too “sweet”. I think you need a “man’s hand” for this music :slightly_smiling_face:

Great Eric Satie!
He was such a weird, crazy person.
Too much Absinth often!
