I have not been able to connect my Motion+ to either my Echo or Echo dot. Is there something I am not doing? My older Soundcore Boost always connected instantly.
I have had similar troubles connecting bluetooth devices to my Echo devices. Echo devices can be awfully annoying to work with when it comes to bluetooth. I usually use the aux port instead.
Thank Matt but using the aux socket kind of defeats the purpose of having a ‘portable’ speaker, particularly if you want to take it into the garden.

Hey, there. In your case, you can try the following steps to see if it helps:
- Clear all the pairing records on your Echo or Echo dot then restart and reset them.
- Turn the Bluetooth on and off on your device.
- Turn on the speaker, then hold down the Bluetooth and Volume+ button at the same time for 5-10 seconds until Motion+ restarts.
- Search for Motion+ in your device’s Bluetooth menu and pair.
