I would definitely have to disagree with that 8.3/10, as he didn’t seem to bother with the Soundcore app, which puts the sound on a whole different level when you customize the EQ. You can take a 10/10 rating from me, who owns 2 of them and can also confirm that TWS mode works flawlessly

In value for money terms alone, the unit deserves at least a 9. Mine is on order because we don’t have these available in South Africa yet, but from the research alone, the Motion Boom punches way above it’s size class. That other 3 alphabet company has been placed on notice!

Not sure why he was comparing this speaker to the UE Hyperboom or JBL Boombox 2. Those are massive party speakers at the top of their respective lines. More direct competition would be the Sony SRS-XB43 or JBL Extreme 3…though in terms of bang for buck and sound quality I believe Motion Boom has those units running for the hills.
