The best is ,if you are able to play an instrument.
I can do drums and a little bit of piano.
I am out of practice now.
But there is still a battery (drums) in the basement.
Should I mount it? My wife will me send to … when I do and drumming there!
The kids were always curious and told me to install the “battery”, but I didn’t!

Glad to know…I exercise my brain daily :muscle::grin:

Yes, music can make us feel and experience different things. Makes sense that it would be a workout for the whole brain.

Interesting read, thanks for the share @ktkundy

Not only is it a good workout for the brain, music can help during a physical workout too!

Passively listening to simple music is probably less helpful than active focus on something complex and layered. And then working on playing it is a while different level.

I only play the radio though, so I can’t be certain. And a little voice - to everyone’s dismay, I often sing along.

This remembers me of Glenn Gould always humming when playing Mozart’s and Bach’s sonatas.
