Sorry, I’m not very tech savvy & thought these headphones would come with instructions. I’m trying to pair them with my smart TV so my mother who has Alzheimer’s & hard of hearing can use them. Any help would be appreciated!

It may all depend on your smart TV.
I just added some Liberty 2 toy dads Samsung TV as he is hard of hearing at about 77.
You will need to go to setting.
I just had to add it to the sound section and it added the BT devive.
So I would turn the device on
Go to the settings
Go to sound
See if you can add
If not there look for BT
See if you can add it and see if it will play
If not you may need to go to sound and change output
