Partycast or TWS (Stero)

Never had the possibility to try “partycast”.
But I know when using “partycast” there is no splitting in a left and right channel.

I use two Flares in stereo mode and hope I can use the Flare mini I won recently
in TWS mode with the one I own already.

Because I never tried that partycast, my question is :
Who is using partycast and can compare it to TWS?

And last not least:
As far I know there are no models around which can be switched (partycast / TWS)
What about a model were the two modes can be switched?

Don’t have speakers to try it.

I don’t think party cast lets you have a left and right. But I also don’t have two of the same speakers to do the stereo pairing either.

As far I understand you get from all connected partycast speakers the same sound.
No splitting as we know it from stereo (TWS)
The TWS speakers I use (Flare) have a true left and right channel which I can adjust with the LINUX sound system.
This is what I need in my small pensioner’s office.

But of course the young ones like this partycast.
I imagine its impressive in a great room with some speakers connected that mode.

I am waiting for true “Quadro-Phonia” realizing with 4 Flares in each corner of my “office”

I prefer TWS because I want Stereo. Partycast hooks up the speakers in Mono.
Edit: As far as I know, there aren’t any Soundcore speakers that let you switch between TWS and Partycast. Like I mentioned earlier, I’m a stereo guy all the way. I love the way my 2 Motion Booms sound in TWS!

Same me.
Old styled.
The 2 Flares and the 2 Flares mini (the second one will show up soon)
That’s absolutely perfect for me.
I have placed the two speakers in front of me so there is an equilateral triangle in
the height of the head.
Perfect.
And I am able to adjust the channels.

I have 3 flare 2s and quite enjoy having them spaced in somewhat of a triangle.

Depending on the music it can be quite spatial (hard to describe). Usually though just use one…

You should get a fourth one! :grinning:

To put one at each corner of the room.
Should be an interesting sound this way,

I connected the two flare mini (TWS) yesterday.
Absolutely great.
Enough for a small room like my “office” ( ca 20 sqm)

volume is about 35%.

By the way, may be the mini 3 you had been donated
could be connected to the Flare 2 (all partycast)

@Chiquinho Are the neighbors satisfied :joy:? Maybe they want to move out, when you set the volume level to 100%?

The neighbors are living at some distance of our house.
And I am playing my usual beloved classical music at low volume.
NO Party!

Don’t you live with immediate joining neighbours both sides and share the garden?

I could find the post… or you remind me.

Basically you should not make too much sound?

I am now back to living in a detached house so I can make as much noise as I like now.

Only one issue: I like silence.

I am limited on the speaker front but do like the ones I have with partycast but can see the benefits of 2 with stereo as well.

No. No sharing.
Next neighbors are ca 10m away to the left and to the right side.
Back part is our garden joining to others gardens.
We don’t have any open air parties.
Even neighbors kids don’t.
Interesting : last month a whole gang was BBQ-ing
(Armin’s youngest daughter’s birthday.)
No loud music, no noise, only talking at normal level.
Well educated!

Listening to classical music should be always in a moderate volume.
Though my “drummer ears” are elder than me, there is never a need to play something loud.
I really could do with my stereo “under the roof” in my private hall.
But I have to care about the roof tiles.

Noise is pollution, even its music.
Some may say “music” other may say noise. Question of taste!

@Chiquinho You are the perfect neighbor. I make noise to my neighbor not with music, but with my brush cutter (Stihl :+1:t2:- I am delighted with it. Great German product!)

@Chiquinho It is hard to believe, but in my village some people are even disturbed by the church bells. Now you can hardly hear them because “noise!” disturb.
