I just purchased a Soundcore Wakey and noticed a serious design flaw: when streaming from a continuous Bluetooth source (think of a USB Bluetooth Transmitter with Aux IN. So no Smartphone or Tablet App with playback controls!), the speaker can not be turned off or muted.
The Soundcore logo button on the speaker sends Pause/Play commands but the USB Bluetooth transmitters I’m using can’t handle it.
What we need is a minor software update, so one can switch the Soundcore logo button behaviour through the iOS/Android app to either act as
- Play/Pause Bluetooth Playback
or - Mute (or turn off) the speaker
