Here is another one!!!

Steppenwolf (where is the name from?)
Hermann Hesse was a german author.
In the Hippie era he was so famous in the USA.

BUT: His books need to be read in German.
Such a perfect German! So great.
Any translation doesn’t match,

By the way : We were playing this song. Those good old days!!!

I also like this recording and the movie :+1:t2::

Do you know Barry Lyndon from good old Stanley
(one of the best films he ever made)
I have tried to find a really impressive scene. The two armies marching.
Havent found. Sorry.
But here you all can see parts of a real cineastic masterwork.

Often the scenes seems to be take from a painting.

@Craig_Paterson Interesting electronic music and film.
“The dramatic explosion at the start of the film was captured using 135 synchronized still cameras.”

Movies with John Williams composing can always earn a top spot for me - whether it’s dramatic like Schindler’s List, playful/action like Indiana Jones and Harry Potter or more grandiose like Star Wars (heck yeah to Duel of Fates!) or Jurassic Park (already mentioned). To me, he is THE epitome of movie composers.
A close 2nd would be the work of Hans Zimmer (Gladiator as mentioned, Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception and Planet Earth) and Howard Shore (LOTR mentioned and The Hobbit)

Some other fav movie scores/soundtracks of mine include:

Swing Kids
Last of the Mohicans
Mambo Kings
Pulp Fiction
The Great Gatsby
Nightmare Before Christmas and Elf (for holiday feels)

@omsweet0m " Duel of Fates " and “The Imperial March”- are the 2 best pieces of music in the entire Star Wars series :+1:t2: !

Yes, it ‘blew’ my mind when I saw it the first time. Had to watch it multiple times to take it all in.

@Craig_Paterson The opening scene of the film, despite the passage of many years, is truly amazing . Where did they get so many cameras :slightly_smiling_face:?
