Too late for updated touch controls?

I think I’m at the point of giving up hope for improved touch controls for my life dot 2nc’s. It seems to me that if Soundcore was going to do something about improving the limited touch controls on their multiple models of earbuds they would have done it by now. Maybe this glaring issue will be addressed in any future models of earbuds. It’s just a shame that these otherwise excellent buds are being held back by something painfully obvious like this.

Frustrated with limited touch controls

I was lucky enough to take a chance on a little - known earbud called the Soundcore Life dot 2nc. Turns out that was the best $79 I ever spent. The options alone are worth the price of admission, not to mention that the sound is the best I ever heard from a set of earbuds. However, there’s one thing that these are in desperate need of and that’s additional touch controls.
