I enjoy the emotion from music. There are certain songs that make me happier just hearing the opening bars.
Of course, those aren’t ones I am hearing for the first time. Music as the background emotional context for TV or movies is a whole different thing.

Indeed, need to have some emotional connection to the music, which is why seeing it in person is often so addictive. With pandemic it will be/is difficult to recreate the experience. If you can figure that out I’m sure you’d be rich.
