A10 stops playing

Hi!
Thanx for this community!
I have recently purchased my A10 in ear sleep buds. Fit perfectly.
My problem is that they always stop playing and I wake up to my husbands snoring :S Must be quite soon after I have fallen asleep cause the battery level is always still good.
I have the buds set to play for 9 hours and smart switch. I have set the one bud to switch with double tap between modes and the other one to play/ stop. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong? If the media player is set to a specific time will the pods not switch to sleep mode when you fall asleep?

My understanding is that in sleep mode, once the ear buds sense you are sleeping, they turn off your sleep sound, but continue to monitor your sleep. If you awaken, you can double tap to turn your sleep sound back on.
