Can't use Soundcore app on Samsung Galaxy S20 FE - won't find Life P3 Earbuds

Hi all,

As the title says, I am unable to make use of the Soundcore app features as I cannot connect my Life P3 earbuds in the app. I can connect them via bluetooth and they will function, but I want to tweak the EQ and ANC in the app.

So far I’ve tried:

  • Resetting the earbuds
  • Unpairing and re-pairing
  • Reinstalling the app
  • Restarting my phone
  • Clearing the cache partition
  • Entering the developer options and toggling the ‘Turn off A2DP hardware offload’ option.

Nothing has worked and I am all out of ideas. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Just tested on my old Motorola Moto G Play and the earbuds pair perfectly fine so it’s obviously a Samsung issue. Not sure what it could be though.

I have exactly the same issue and lots of reviews of the app on the Google Play Store suggest the same thing. Raised a ticket with support but I’m not optimistic if this is so widespread.

I spoke to Anker support on Amazon and they told me an updated version of the app will be out in the next 1-2 weeks to fix this issue. We’ll see if it’s the case. If not then I’ll just return them.
