I completely understand what you are saying. I really can’t figure it out myself. I guess I should just be happy. The thing is, I want to understand, and at this point I don’t. My Windows 10 PC updated on Tuesday, but I was still using the first Q30’s at that point (new ones didn’t arrive until Thursday). That’s the only thing I can think of atm.
PS I’m thinking random luck or luck of the draw myself.
Super excited that the new ones are so much better. Have you tested out any of the eq settings yet?

I cycled through them and a few sounded pretty good but in the end I made 2 Custom EQ’s. I always make Custom EQ’s. So far, I’m very happy with them. Unreal value is the phrase for these, especially at the price I paid!
