For going on a trip like over plane, and or waiting in airport, for long hours in ear with noise canselation but if someone is talking you cam hear.
For flights or trips
Personally, I enjoyed using my Sport X10 for an international flight I just took. Comfortable for long hours, and by pulling the ear buds out a little ways, I could leave them hanging on my ear and hear everything being said without having to switch over to transparency mode.
