My kids are basically indifferent to the OS - as long as it has a web browser with their data available, what runs underneath doesn’t matter much.

It was very different when I was a kid, I learned a lot by just trying to do things - but my main goal was to get on the network, which they just have handed to them. I probably wouldn’t have been any different in their shoes.

Depends how old the kids are.
An introduction to informatics is always good.
Getting some insights how computers are working etc,.

They should not be able to read a hex-code! :rofl:

They have all done the quick learn to code thing with a frozen theme.

Some went on to do others and have played around with it. When presented that way, coding is more of a game than a chore, and they all figured it out quickly. And then moved on to other things again…
