Don’t have PS4 so can’t really help, but I heard that you probably will need bluetooth dongle, vut it’s not for sure

There are so many questions which have been asked and answered.
Some of these can not be answered.,
but they have been questioned often of course. 
I agree that a dongle may work but have not tried it with my ps4. I have tried several devices and can get them found but not never to connect.
Worse case it to use the cable to connect to controller.
They did have a strike series but I think it had a flaw in the sliding bar becoming weak.
Do not think you will get the mic to work either way (cable or dongle)
Sony doesn’t allow third party Bluetooth connections to their consoles, and using a BT dongle creates lag.
The best way to connect any headphones to your PS4 is via a wired connection to the controller.
Note that your built-in mic will not work while connected with a wire, so if you want to chat as well you will need to use a cable with an inline or boom mic.
