Less playback time😟

Correct, my 1st Q30 had dubious ANC, had replacement, may have been better, the replacement now has left earcup crackle and whistle so fault, replacement coming.

I see. Kind of disappointing to see so many QC issues with Q30… seems like a bit of a rushed product, or what?

Well I did buy Q30 early so it’s a risk with new. But good choice with the brand, excellent customer service, have my replacement now, next day. I think you can get the odd turkey, the odd dud but if you stick with good customer service it forgives all the risks. I could always, worst case, just return for full refund.

It is my default recommendation to wait on new products, reviews, I have little respect for complaints from early adopters wingeing. So I am myself irked by so many $$$ being given out to early adopters (unboxing video gifts, etc) as it penalises caution.

Early products = higher risk. Makes sense to all of us.

But given there are risks, and the company wants to encourage as many early purchases as possible, the rewards for early adopters might help offset that.
