There has been lots of research about this in the past and I think it was @thesnarkyone that had suggested a great running podcast to me. I would have to agree that without a doubt for me I think music really helps with athletic performance. I know in some workout situations it can be dangerous to listen to music while working out but in safe settings I think it is a great way to stay motivated

Indeed it was I… DJ Steve Boyett and his podcast podrunner series.

Great bpm for kicking hard, and also if wanting to start has a great 0 to 5k series…

He also had (maybe still does) a lot of edm and trance podcasts tooo… been awhile since I listened though… used to download through iTunes…

I definitely believe this, I always have to put on music before I do any kind of stretching or exercise too ! Nice share !
