Sony opening a vinyl factor in Japan

Interesting in that I did not think vinyl was re-surging that well to have a vinyl factory to open

Well, since all the old ones closed…

I think of vinyl as a flooring material now and nothing to do with music. But I don’t use physical media anymore other than HDD and SSDs.

I remember when CDs came out, audiophiles said it was worse than vinyl.

I love how thing become new again. (Vinyl)

It is like yesterday when phones were shrinking and now they are getting bigger again. I just hope the lp size movie disc don’t come back in style. Lol

Hmm interesting I didn’t know vinyl was making a come back I know a couple people who like it but not many

My son has gotten several over the last couple of years. I know there was a big Black Friday sales on them like 2 yrs ago as well on the players.

I know the players made a huge come back a year ago maybe a little more because almost all of my friends got one but it was more so a style trend I would say than an actual music appreciation trend

I came real close to buying one back then but help out . LOL I heard it did have some good video back then but never got to see one.

Uncompressed video and audio, which is why they were sooo big.

I have a pioneer player.

Best movie I watched on it was Spawn, in 5.1 surround at the time.
