If I pair the headphones over Bluetooth, they sound amazing, but with devices like a PS5 that barely support anything, I had to go with wired mode. And then the sound came through. I was very disappointed. Kinda sounds like if the music was playing through a towel. Very washed out, too much bass, no mids / highs. I heard that there’s absolutely no way to adjust wired mode and just wanted to confirm if it’s true or not, since I’d love to play rhythm games with this thing but if it sounds like sad lumpy plastic I can’t really use it. Different cables change nothing.

If you use an eq on the device side it should be possible.
