Soundcore Rave Neo - IP Ratings Correction

For Rave Neo there seems to be some ambiguity on the tech specs for IP Rating. Soundcore.com states IPX7 while Walmart States IP67 … someone needs to get this corrected, have same across - which ever is correct to have uniformity (though it may be the same) !!

Hi , Rave Neo is IPX7, which means fully waterproof . IP67 means both waterproof and dustproof. Officially we do not mention the dustproof function because we don’t get specific certificate. However,Rave Neo can dustproof too.

As my bathrooms are getting restored, (next door to my little “home office”), I could test the speaker if
these are dustproof. When it is finished I can do a waterproof testing.
You see, I am the perfect tester! :joy:

Ah, but you are unable to issue an IP rating certificate… So IPX7 it will stay I would guess.

Anything that has no major moving parts and is waterproof is usually dustproof as well - it makes sense to skip the cost associated with that certification when it is so rarely helpful.

I have a printer! :joy:

Sounds good
