Soundcore Spirit 2 water and heat test

This week I took a hit for the team. I performed a water and heat test on the Soundcore Spirit 2 (however accidental it may have been).

Essentially, my earbuds were in my pant pocket. I then washed my clothes, and my earbuds with it. I then ran everything through the dryer.

Now it’s time for the result. EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY FINE. Nothing broke, and the battery life is still perfect. It seems that the waterproofing doesn’t just protect from obscene amounts of water, but also from a fair amount of heat.

You literally can’t tell what happened to them. I am very impressed by how well they held up.

Overall I would give the waterproofing on these buds an A+. I’m not scared of anything now!

Depends on the temperature you washed the clothes.
Colored clothes are normally washed with 30C.
So there should be no harm.

You should NOT go for a further washing test with 100C. :smiley:

That’s great!! I used to wash a lot of my electronics with my clothes… but thankfully I’ve never washed any Soundcore devices!! (Not yet at least!)

Nice and lucky you. The washing machine and dryer can damage even the best water proofed heat resistance tech.
