Spirit X2 Damage

I purchased the Spirit X2 Wireless In-Ear Headphones on March 11, 2020 from Best Buy. The ear buds have been amazing and worked just as promoted by Anker-Soundcore (8 hour play time, multiple charges from the case and the IP68 rating). I do have an issue with the damage that has occurred over the 15 months I have owned them. I’m curious itthis damage has occurred to any other purchasers of the Spirit X2 ear buds? I’m also curious if Anker-Soundcore customer support specialists monitor this community board? I have uploaded 2 images of the damage below this post. Any and all replies would be greatly appreciated.

Although you can check with service@soundcore.com, I would say you may have a 50/50 percent chance
This could be considered not part of the warranty as you have worn the item to this condition.

You really got your money out of those. I’ve seen any issues like this before. I’d contact support and see if they will help you out. As @Duane_Lester it may not be covered, but its worth a try.

Update: In less than 24 hours I have received a reply to my original post on this “Conversations” forum (thank you Anny Peng) and an email from "service@soundcore.com" (thank you Lacey). Support has offered to replace my original Spirit X2 headphones. Now THAT’S customer service!

I always purchase premium tech hardware from highly rated companies. This amazingly quick response and commitment to replace prove to me that Anker and Soundcore products and customer service are the BEST!
