It’s almost 2020. That fact that y’all are still using such an inferior format like Micro-USB on your flagship products is absurd. Hurry up and make it USB-C so i can buy it 
What’s keeping the soundcore product engineers from putting USB-C on the Flare+?
They have been putting USB-C on their newer products. If you want a speaker with USB-C, then the icon+ has it.
If you want a flare style speaker with USB-C, then you will have to wait for the release of the flare 2.
I have no idea when the flare 2 will release, but @Insider might have an idea

If so, I’d love to be involved in beta testing it. Seriously.
I recently tested a new speaker for a large company, with Alexa, and it’s the best I’ve heard my fiancee laugh for quite a while. Her wit, and dryness is soo good.

Nice! I’ve got a Eufy Genie and well… It works for Alexa but music is bad. I’m replacing mine with an Echo Dot. Its still boxed up and I hope its got better music quality.
