You are nt able to connect them that way. The Chromecast will cast things from your phone apps not from the Chromecast itself. .
If you are wanting to connect the q30, I would try to connect the q30 with the tv instead. It will depend on the tv as to whether it will connect to the q30. I have had to do it and others not.
