Flare mini won’t connect to the app

My app won’t connect to my flare mini. Why?

Flare Mini was never supported by application. There is Flare Mini Upgraded on aplication list available now. I think it means there will be new (upgraded) version of Flare Mini released and it will be supported by APP.

The original flare mini was released 2019

There was an upgrade to it 2021

https://fccid.io/2AOKB-A3167V

So that meant there two now two versions of A3167, and added two other things which inside are the same but different outside.

As mentioned, the app refers to the newer “upgraded” version which has app support. The original doesn’t.

You’d have to look for a wording like “upgraded” in the description at purchase time to know you’re getting the one with app support.

Obviously many of us on the side of the consumer would prefer if Soundcore didn’t use existing product codes and existing names with a key difference as it just forces a magnifying glass on the wording to ensure you know what you’re getting.

I don’t know you can tell on the product. You may be able to tell if it’s A3167V?

The app mentioning Flare Mini Upgraded has appeared/disappeared/appeared a couple of time on the app update over months since the FCC listing.

Heck as I get older, I am more tempted to grab a magnifying glass for normal use

You don’t own one already for the Soundcore manual?

I’ve to use reading glasses to read most manuals now. They font gets smaller or my eyes get worse…
