I have mixed feelings about spotify.
They have some work to do on their interface, and it definitely feels like they are putting energy into “shiny” instead of “useful”. But the selection is pretty good. Like Netflix back before everyone started taking their TV shows back to their own websites - now there is this:
And spotify doesn’t have everything, but better than that.
Laws of supply and demand will thin out the market. If you don’t have a differentiator you won’t last for long.
That’s why first to market usually garners the lions share, unless it’s significantly different (like lüm) to disrupt,
