I agree.
Being able to disable like you to with wear detection makes sense.
My previous headphones didn’t have any buttons - not even a power button.
So tapping controls were the only option.
I did occasionally get a tap in error which could be frustrating.
@roger186 Thanks for the extensive explanation. Aptx is an old codec, so the license fee shouldn’t be too high. Aptx increases energy consumption, but the benefit of better sound is perhaps very attractive. It’s like with ANC - you lose something, but you gain something.
